とくしま探究プロジェクト事業

　12月3日，日曜日。木頭産業文化祭で活動ポスターや徳島大学生との実践型インターンシップの様子を展示してきました。大学生連や殿様連による阿波踊り，地域おこし協力隊の活動報告，産直市など，エネルギーに溢れた文化祭でした。

　また，地域の方々に話を聞く中で，那賀町への思いなどのアンケートもとらせていただきました。話を聞かせていただいた皆さんが，高校生のような若者と話すだけでも元気をもらえる，とおっしゃっていました。生徒達も直接その言葉を聞き，今後の活動へのモチベーションが高まっているようでした。現地に出向かなければ分からない，住民のリアルな言葉を聞くことが出来た貴重な機会となりました。

12月26日には徳島大学生との共同企画である那賀町木頭地区ツアーを予定しています。

　11月19日に地域探究ツアーを実施しました。前日までの天候不良により那賀川源流調査を諦め，放置ゆず・すだち狩りに予定変更しました。

　午前中は四季美谷温泉で開催されていた源流コンサートにて，清流座による人形浄瑠璃やピアノ演奏などを観覧しました。その後，温泉近くの複数の滝を巡り山道を散策しました。初めて那賀奥を訪れた生徒もおり，印象的な体験となりました。温泉のレストランでジビエ料理を堪能する生徒もいました。

   On November 19th, we conducted a community exploration tour. Due to adverse weather conditions until the day before, we had to give up on the investigation of the Naka River headwaters and instead changed the plan to participate in the abandoned yuzu and sudachi fruit-picking.

　　In the morning, we attended the Source Concert held at Shikibi Valley Onsen, where we enjoyed performances such as puppet theater and piano by the Seiryuza group. Afterward, we explored several waterfalls near the hot spring and walked along mountain paths. Some students visited Naka's depths for the first time, making it a memorable experience. There were also students who savored game dishes at the hot spring's restaurant.

   　　11月19日，我们进行了一次社区探究之旅。由于前一天的恶劣天气，我们不得不放弃对那賀川源头的调查，改为参与了放置柚子和酢橘的采摘计划。

　　上午，我们参加了在四季美谷温泉举行的源流音乐会，在那里我们欣赏了清流座团体的人偶戏和钢琴演奏等表演。之后，我们探索了温泉附近的几个瀑布，并沿着山间小径漫步。一些学生第一次访问那賀的深处，这是一次令人难忘的体验。也有一些学生在温泉的餐厅品尝了野味料理。

　午後は，相生地区に戻り放置ゆず・すだち狩りです。すだちの収穫時期が相生晩茶の収穫時期と重なっているようで，人手が足らず，すだちの収穫を諦めざるを得ないようです。収穫時期が過ぎ黄色くなったすだちは酸味が和らぎ，甘みも出てくるため，そのまま果実を食べることもできました。持ち帰ったゆずとすだちは，食品加工や精油抽出などの探究活動に使用します。有機栽培や経営の話など，様々な話を聞きながらの作業となり，有意義なものとなりました。

　In the afternoon, we returned to the Aioi area for the abandoned yuzu and sudachi fruit-picking. The harvesting period for sudachi seems to overlap with the harvesting period for Aioi evening tea, leading to a shortage of manpower, and it appears unavoidable to give up on harvesting sudachi. Once the harvesting period had passed, the yellowed sudachi exhibited milder acidity and emerging sweetness, allowing us to eat the fruit as is. The yuzu and sudachi we brought back will be used for exploration activities such as food processing and essential oil extraction. The work, accompanied by various discussions including topics related to organic cultivation and management, proved to be meaningful.

　下午，我们回到相生地区进行搁置柚子和酢橘的采摘。橙柚的收获期似乎与相生晚茶的收获期重叠，导致人手短缺，似乎不可避免地放弃了对橙柚的采摘。一旦过了采摘期，泛黄的橙柚表现出较温和的酸度和逐渐显现的甜味，使我们可以直接食用这些水果。我们带回来的柚子和橙柚将用于食品加工和精油提取等探究活动。这项工作伴随着各种讨论，包括与有机栽培和管理相关的话题，被证明是有意义的。

　From Science to Community Revitation

３年生森林クリエイト科の「化学探究」授業内で取り組んできた実験の一部です。木材を加工する際に出た廃棄予定の鉋屑から，セルロースを分離，分解，糖化する定性実験を行った様子です。精油抽出に使用した鉋屑からバイオエタノールを作っています。

 　本来であれば捨てられるはずの廃棄物に、新たな付加価値を持たせることで、別の新しい製品に生まれ変わらせることを「アップサイクル（Upcycling）」と呼びます。本校では森林クリエイト科の実習で出る廃棄物や，地域課題である放置ゆずなどの未利用資源に，新たな価値を生み出そうと探究しています。木材やゆずからエッセンシャルオイルを水蒸気蒸留法で抽出する際の熱エネルギーも，自分たちで創り出したバイオエタノールでまかなえることができれば面白い，というところから，この実験はスタートしました。

　「アップサイクル」の全てが良いことばかりではないことも，生徒達は学んでいます。常に，環境に配慮しているかどうかを自問自答し，「グリーンウォッシュ（Green Washing）」に陥らないよう，日々，実験に取り組んでいます。

     This is a portion of the experiments conducted during the "Chemical Inquiry" class in the third-year Forest Create Science course. The images show a qualitative experiment where cellulose was separated, decomposed, and saccharified from the planned waste shavings generated during wood processing. Bioethanol is being produced from the shavings used for essential oil extraction.

     By imparting new added value to waste that would normally be discarded, the process of transforming it into another new product is referred to as "Upcycling." At our school, we are exploring ways to generate new value from the waste produced during the Forest Create Science course, as well as from underutilized resources such as abandoned yuzu (citrus fruit), which is a local issue. The idea originated from the desire to use bioethanol created by ourselves to cover the heat energy required for steam distillation when extracting essential oil from wood and yuzu.

     Students are learning that not everything about "Upcycling" is entirely positive. They constantly question whether they are environmentally conscious and strive to avoid falling into "Green Washing," working diligently on experiments every day.

We aim to revitalize Naka Town by harnessing its resources to create new energy.
 

   这是在第三年的“化学探究”课程中进行的实验的一部分，属于森林创造科。这些图像展示了在木材加工过程中产生的计划废弃的刨花中，从中分离、分解和糖化纤维素的定性实验。从用于提取精油的刨花中正在生产生物乙醇。

    通过为通常会被丢弃的废弃物注入新的附加价值，将其转化为另一种新产品的过程被称为“Upcycling（升级循环）”。在我们的学校，我们正在探索如何从森林创造科课程产生的废物以及诸如被遗弃的柚子（柑橘水果）等未被充分利用的资源中产生新的价值，这是一个地方性问题。这个想法起源于使用我们自己创造的生物乙醇来弥补在从木材和柚子中提取精油时所需的蒸汽蒸馏所需的热能。

     学生们正在学习“Upcycling”并非完全积极的一切。他们不断质疑自己是否具有环保意识，并努力避免陷入“Green Washing（绿色洗白）”，每天都在实验中努力工作。

我们旨在通过利用那賀町的资源创造新能源来振兴那賀町。

　那賀高校学校運営協議会にて，生徒達がこれまでの取り組みの成果を発表しました。徳島大学生物資源産業学部准教授　山村様，大塚製薬株式会社徳島ワジキ工場長　高須賀様，那賀町職員の方々を前に堂々とした立ち振る舞いでした。様々な立場からの提言をいただくとともに，生徒達の活動の際にお力を貸していただけると力強い言葉をいただきました。生徒達も場数を踏むごとに，たくましく成長しています。

  At the Naka High School School Management Council, students presented the results of their efforts to various guests, including Associate Professor Yamamura from the Faculty of Bioresource Sciences at the University of Tokushima, Director Takasuka from the Tokushima Wajiki Plant of Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and officials from Naka Town. During the presentation, the students shared their opinions and proposals on revitalizing Naka Town and asked questions to the guests.

  We received valuable suggestions from individuals in different positions, and they offered encouraging words, expressing their willingness to support the students' activities. As the students gain more experience, they are growing resilient and capable.

  在那賀高中學校運營協議會上，學生向各位嘉賓展示了他們的努力成果，包括德島大學生物資源科學系的山村副教授、大塚製藥株式會社德島和喜工廠的高須賀主任，以及那賀町的官員。在發表過程中，學生分享了他們對振興那賀町的意見和提案，並向嘉賓提問。

  我們收到了來自不同職位的寶貴建議，他們提供了鼓勵的話語，表示願意支持學生的活動。隨著學生獲得更多經驗，他們變得更加堅韌和有能力。

　10月26日（木）、熊本県で行われた農業クラブ全国大会熊本県大会の意見発表部門で、森林クリエイト科3年　来見佳祐君が最優秀賞ならびに文部科学大臣賞を受賞しました。（記事はこちら）

　発表内容は，昨年度から継続して取り組む「未利用森林資源となる木質バイオマスの可能性の探究」をテーマにした化学実験などについてです。令和四年度徳島県教育会研究指定校（＊徳島教育令和５年５月号より　指定校報告 那賀高等学校.pdf）として採択され，活動してきたことが実を結びました。那賀町の森林資源や放置ゆずなど，生徒たちが郷土の問題に目を向け，解決に向け行動を起こし始めています。（昨年度の抜粋記事①②③④⑤　本年度は「とくしま 探究プロジェクト」を通し，生徒たちが社会問題に向き合う態度，能力を獲得すべく，Well-beingを重視した地域活性化の方法について探究します。

      On October 26th, in the Agricultural Club National Conference Kumamoto Prefectural Tournament, Mr. Keisuke Kurumi, a third-year student belonging to the Forestry Create Department, received the Best Presentation Award and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award. 

     The presentation focused on ongoing research since the previous academic year, exploring the potential of unused forest resources as woody biomass. Recognized as a designated school for research by the Tokushima Prefectural Board of Education in the 4th year of Reiwa (from the May 5th issue of Tokushima Education, see Designated School Report from Naka High School.pdf), the efforts of the students have borne fruit. They have turned their attention to local issues in Naka Town, such as forest resources and neglected yuzu which is Japanese Citrus, and have begun taking action towards solutions (see excerpts from last year's articles ①②③④⑤).

In the current academic year, through the "Tokushima Exploration Project," students will investigate methods for regional revitalization emphasizing Well-being, aiming to acquire the attitude and skills to confront societal issues.

        在10月26日，于熊本县举行的农业俱乐部全国大会熊本县赛中，属于森林创造系的三年级学生来见佳祐先生荣获最佳演讲奖和文部科学大臣奖。

       演讲侧重于自上一学年以来的持续研究，探讨未利用的森林资源作为木质生物质的潜力。作为令和四年度德岛县教育委员会研究指定学校（参见德岛教育令和5年5月号，查看来自中高级学校.pdf的指定学校报告），学生们的努力取得了成果。他们关注了那贺町的地方问题，如森林资源和被忽视的柚子（日本柑橘），并已开始采取行动寻求解决方案（参见去年文章的摘录①②③④⑤）。

         在当前学年，通过"德岛探索项目"，学生们将调查强调幸福感的地区振兴方法，旨在培养面对社会问题的态度和技能。

　徳島大学から「実践型インターンシップ」を那賀町で実施する学生が来校しました。ツキノワグマやシカをテーマにしたアイスブレイクでスタートし，45分間の那賀高生によるプレゼン，最後に質疑応答というスケジュールでした。生徒達は夏休みに実施した那賀町ツアーの経験も生かし，タブレットでの共同編集でスライドを仕上げてきました。45分という長時間のプレゼンテーションでしたが，大学生とのやりとりを交えながらそれぞれの個性が表れたものに仕上がりました。その後の質疑応答でも，大学生や大学の先生方，地域おこし協力隊の方々からの様々な質問に自分たちの言葉で回答していました。

  Students from Tokushima University who  participate in a "Practical Internship" program. This session began with an icebreaker activity focusing on Asian black bear (Tsukinowaguma) and deer (Shika). The schedule included a 45-minute presentation by Naka High School students. 

  The students reflected on  the Naka town Summer tour Experience, and made a lot of slides with tour companions using tablets. Despite the extended 45-minute presentation, they demonstrated their individual personalities while  engaging with the students of Tokushima University. During the subsequent question-and-answer session, they confidently responded to various inquiries from university students, professors, and members of the regional revitalization team in their own words.

  来自徳岛大学的学生参加了一项名为“实践型实习”的项目。这个活动以亚洲黑熊, 和鹿, 为主题进行了一个破冰活动。日程表包括那香高中学生进行的45分钟演讲。

    学生们回顾了他们在那香镇夏季旅行的经历，并使用平板电脑与旅行伙伴一起制作了许多幻灯片。尽管演讲时间延长到了45分钟，但他们在与徳岛大学的学生互动时展现出了个性。在随后的问答环节中，他们以自己的话语自信地回答了来自大学生、教授以及地区振兴团队成员的各种问题。

　8月31日に徳島大学で開催された夏期集中講義「徳島の魅力、徳島で働く」に那賀高生18名が参加しました。徳島大学をはじめとした県内学生に混ざり，実際の集中講義に参加できた貴重な体験となりました。本校が取り組んでいる地域探究活動を踏まえたグループワーク等も取り入れてくださり，大学生の思考を体感することができました。質問や全体発表などに非常に積極的に取り組み，大学生に負けじと奮闘していました。

    On August 31st, 18 students from Naka High School participated in the summer intensive lecture titled "The Charm of Tokushima and Working in Tokushima" held at Tokushima University. It was a valuable experience for them to join the lecture alongside students from other universities in the prefecture and engage in actual concentrated learning. The program also incorporated activities such as group work based on the regional exploration efforts that our school is involved in, allowing them to experience the thought processes of university students.

  They actively participated in asking questions and making group presentations, demonstrating with  University students.

　八月卅一日，在德島大學舉辦的暑期密集講座「德島的魅力，德島的工作」有十八位那賀高中的學生參加。他們有幸與來自德島大學和其他本縣學校的學生一起參加了實際的密集講座。這是一個寶貴的體驗。此外，該講座還引入了基於我們學校參與的地區探索活動的小組合作等活動，使他們能夠體驗到大學生的思考過程。他們在提問和參加整體發表等方面積極主動，與大學生一同學習。

　7月27日，先日講演いただいた地域おこし協力隊OGの重先生と共に那賀町上流域ツアーを実施しました。参加者は，普通科，森林クリエイト科の1～3年生9名です。ツアーテーマを「那賀町の人の暮らし」と設定し，衣食住から産業，文化の歴史にも触れることができました。このツアーは，徳島大学COC+R事業の「実践型インターンシップ」との連携の中で実施しています。今回学び感じた事柄も踏まえて，「実践型インターンシップ」で那賀町に来られる大学生に対し，9月に那賀高生がプレゼンを行います。

 　また，2023年度COC＋R事業参加校共同授業「徳島の魅力、徳島で働く」への那賀高生の参加も決まりました。

In order to consider the revitalization of the local community, we first conducted practical fieldwork and observed the nature and way of life in Upper Naka Town.

為了思考地方社區的活化，我們首先進行了實地實踐的田野調查，實際觀察了上那賀町的自然環境和居民生活方式。

　木頭地区地域おこし協力隊OGの重 陵加先生をお招きし，那賀地域の特産物や、特産品、ドキュメンタリーを通して、昭和４０年代の那賀地域の人々の暮らしや、暮らしの中の工夫などを学んだ。

　地域を知るためにインターネット検索で得られる情報は多いが，実際に地域を訪れ，目で見て，ものに触れる事によって見えてくるものが数多くある。

　この夏休み，那賀高校選抜チームを結成し，大学生への那賀町紹介プレゼンの情報集めのため，那賀町問題発見ツアー（フィールドワーク）を実施する予定である。

     We invited Ms. Shige Ryoka, a former member of the Community Revitalization Cooperation Team, who has relocated to Kito Village. Through her perspective as a newcomer from outside the prefecture, we learned about the specialties and local products of the Naka region, as well as the lifestyle and ingenious practices of the people in the Naka region during the 1940s, through documentaries.

      While there is abundant information available through internet searches to learn about the region, there are many things that can only be discovered by actually visiting the area, seeing with our own eyes, and experiencing firsthand.

     This summer vacation, we plan to form a selected team from Naka High School to conduct a Naka Town Problem Discovery Tour (fieldwork) in order to gather information for a presentation introducing Naka Town to university students.

　我們邀請了志賀涼香女士，她曾是地區振興合作團隊的成員，後來遷居至喜濤村。透過她作為外縣市新來者的視角，我們透過紀錄片瞭解了中央地區的特色和當地產品，以及1940年代中央地區居民的生活方式和巧妙做法。

　儘管通過網路搜索可以獲得大量的地區相關資訊，但有許多事情只有實際訪問該地區，親眼目睹和親身體驗才能發現。

　今年暑假，我們計劃從中央高中選派一支特選隊伍，進行中央町問題發現之旅（田野調查），以收集有關中央町的資訊，為向大學生介紹中央町的簡報做準備。

令和５年度，那賀高校は「とくしま探究プロジェクト」事業の実施校に選出されました。

「とくしま探究プロジェクト」は、徳島県が実施する教育事業の一つで、高校生の探究力や課題解決能力を育成することを目的としています。

　具体的には、学校全体で様々な探究テーマを設定し、生徒たちが主体的に調査・研究を行い、結果をまとめ発表するという活動が行われます。

　那賀高等学校は、探究のテーマを那賀町の魅力化とし、探究活動を展開していきます。

　徳島大学、那賀町の方々、連携中学校また、海外の高校とも連携をはかり、様々な視点で探究していこうと考えています。

    In 2023, Naka High School was selected as a school of practice for the "Tokushima Exploration Project."

　The "Tokushima Exploration Project" is an educational initiative conducted by Tokushima Prefecture with the aim of fostering high school students' research and problem-solving skills.

　Specifically, the entire school will set various research themes, and students will actively conduct investigations and research, and then compile and present their findings.

　Naka High School has chosen to focus its exploration activities on promoting the attractiveness of Naka Town. The school aims to collaborate with Tokushima University, the local community in Naka Town, Junior high schools, as well as high schools overseas, in order to explore from various perspectives.

    在2023年，那賀高中被選為「德島探索計劃」的實施學校。

「德島探索計劃」是由德島縣進行的教育倡議，旨在培養高中生的研究和解決問題的能力。

具體而言，整個學校將設定各種研究主題，學生將積極進行調查和研究，然後整理和呈現他們的研究成果。

那賀高中選擇將探索活動的重點放在宣傳那賀町的魅力上。學校的目標是與德島大學、那賀町的當地社區、國中學校以及海外的高中學校合作，從不同的角度進行探索。
